Current direction
My current research direction is AI agents for computer architecture and operating systems. My broader research interests are computer architecture, operating systems, compilers, and high-performance computing.
Selected projects
RISC-V cryptographic acceleration
CUHK-Shenzhen · September 2023 – June 2025
Designed a RISC-V instruction set extension for elliptic curve cryptographic acceleration. I built a general-purpose hardware accelerator template in Verilog suitable for multiple curves, and decomposed encryption and decryption into primitive operations to simplify instructions and reduce FPGA logic usage.
GauU-Scene V2
CUHK-Shenzhen · May – June 2024
Parallelized CPU inference with Python multiprocessing and implemented multi-GPU training and inference in PyTorch, achieving speedups of up to 6.5×. I also built a GitHub Pages website to visualize the dataset’s models and processing results.
Research background
During my undergraduate studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, I worked on embedded systems and hardware–software co-design under Professor Yeh-Ching Chung. I also served as captain of the university’s high-performance computing team.
My technical experience includes OpenMP, MPI, CUDA, OpenACC, Triton, and Slurm, as well as LLVM, GCC, Lex, and Yacc. See my CV for education, teaching, and industry experience.
